YOGA IN PREGNANCY

It is already known that practising yoga is good for people of all ages, but it is especially recommended during pregnancy. We are talking about a very delicate moment of introspection when the tie between the person who carries inside the new life and the baby is getting stronger day by day. Very recent research has established that the nine months of  pregnancy have a big influence in the future life of the new born. The period before birth is the first important step in the life of human beings and a baby cuddled during pregnancy will become a more healthy and secure child.  The time of the day that you dedicate to yoga helps to create a space to take better care of yourself and the baby: a space in which the instincts become very intense and we feel nearer to nature; a space in which the emotions become more intense day by day, when  we feel the growth of the baby who starts to respond to our stimulus. With yoga we become more aware of the enormous power that is inside us and the innate capacity every woman has to give birth with serenity, giving her love and care to her child. The benefits of yoga passes from the mother to the baby and makes their tie deeper and closer. From a physical point of view it is possible with some simple exercises to keep your spine healthy; to work for the opening and the elasticity of the pelvis, increasing the breathing capacity so that you get more oxygen into the blood. Pranayama helps to control the changing moods of pregnant women; this way helps us to breath correctly and with awareness,  freeing us from negative tensions, making muscles more flexible and letting the spine become longer. At the end of a period of meditation, the inner hearing and visualization techniques help the mother to develop  a unique and special tie with her baby.

Our association takes care of pregnant women from the third month, prepares women to experience the birth with calm and serenity and helps them to recover in a short time.
