Marina Fantera was born in Civita Castellana in 1964 (Virgo risingsign Cancer) has always lived in Tuscia where she  has practiced her natural talent at painting and decorating pottery in the local ceramic industry. Her artistic sensibility is absolutely spontaneous and she has dedicated every  moment of her free time to painting. She feels that she best expresses her talent by giving life to ‘stones’ showing how, with a few coloured lines, these inanimate things come to life. This passion began in 1997 when she started to paint her beloved animals on stones, thinking that her motto could be “Even stones have a soul” and she soon became known in handmade markets as the ‘stone painter ’. She has also had some experience in elementary schools teaching small children how to paint on stones,  and has been repaid with great enthusiasm from her pupils who can transform stones through fantasy. In our association she leads classes in nature painting.
