ART THERAPY
The aim of art therapy is that of aiding
and developing the expression of oneself, of ones perceptions and emotions,
feelings and personal experiences, through the creation of a flexible space in
which the individual can feel free to express aspects of his inner life that
are normally sacrificed and unexpressed.
The artistic experience permits a way of
communication that allows to the individual to display his potentialities, to
improve his communication skills, to feel an individual and to feel part of a
group: that’s why artistic activity has a cathartic and liberating power for
the soul. The class is based upon alternating the verbal and the non verbal
communication so that the emotional and
imaginative level of the group can be shared. The precise program of activities
cannot be scheduled in advance, but it
is something that comes to life from the interaction of the group and the
guide, from the discoveries and the opportunity for reflection as the
activities unfold. The instruments that will most be used will be: music (which
will be omni-present, photographs, poetry, color, collage and so on…
All different types of art will help us
to let get in touch with our personality
and our soul.
